I completely agree with Lynne. Your short film created a highly imaginative world that is complete with past, present, and the future. It was as if I was watching a clip from Godard's Alphaville. Like Godard's film, your film created such a unique world that I want to see more of it. I hope you can create another film that takes place in this world you created and post it here again soon.

I loved your choice of music...
Also I thought the clip of people dressed up in strange animal costumes and dancing around was especially intriguing...
The text also struck me as interesting because it was impossible to focus on both at once. I thought that was a neat choice because if the viewer really wants to know what the text says they have to go back and watch the video twice...

Reminiscent of Persian Series, and also of that strange place between sleep and awake in which one has the capacity to hear colors (I fell asleep listening to Grizzly Bear on an airplane and this is exactly what I went through). I especially enjoyed when you started to get creative with the combinations of colors, ans of course the reverse shot of color leaving the water. Very surreal and sensory heavy.

Great way to examine bro culture. The loud, assaulting repetition seems like a cinematic interpretation of the sexual act itself. Our disgust is of the attitude of the group this man represents; that something as trivial as being the first person to have sex with someone could be their highest achievement. Great stuff.

At first disorienting, one can't help but be drawn in by the grey journey the voice take us on. I love how non inherent the setting is, forcing us to discover our surroundings the same way an audile would: mostly through sound, and secondarily though visual clues. The final moments bring relevance and gravity to the piece, and while the footage is from a specific era, it could most certainly be from today. Timeless.

it's almost like a satire of the idea of how precious virgins are. It's strange how elated that guys is....

I LOVE this project! It was so unique and really an adventure.

I like how you paid attention to all the words and approached each graffiti like they had their own personality. I also liked how you played with the different graffitis as jokes.

Also the music is awesome!

A very emotional and personal piece. I felt invested in your family and could share their joy and excitement for life. India to New York City is a drastic change and it's interesting to see how people cope.

I love the way you edited the piece together. It reminded me a lot of Harmony Korine's trash humpers. It's like watching a home movie made by someone cinematically conscious.
