Hi Bryan:
I like the interior/exterior dichotomy, even if the “exterior” is mostly the common space in a high-rise. You could extend this with the camera. Why not make interior shots static and fixed (tripod shots)? Formal, perhaps. But such formal shots could be a nice contrast with your handheld shots of the exterior/common space shots.
There’s one shot in particular, about midway thru the video, of the dog laying down in the hallway. It’s a nearly static shot, but it exudes serenity (in contract to the hectic outside world of the sidewalk). You’d do well to continue your explorations/excavations of the duality of New York City life — interior/exterior.
